PLEASANTON, CA--(Marketwired - Apr 15, 2015) - Workday, Inc. (NYSE: WDAY), a leader in enterprise cloud applications for finance and human resources, today announced that the San Francisco Business Times and the Silicon Valley / San Jose Business Journal ranked Workday #1 for the largest companies on its annual list of Best Places to Work in the Bay Area. This marks the fourth time that Workday has ranked #1 and is the eighth consecutive year Workday has appeared on the list. Workday just celebrated its 10th anniversary in March with more than 3,700 employees around the world.

"Our success starts with our employees and this recognition is a credit to the passion, hard work, and commitment to customer success that they deliver on a daily basis."

Employees from nearly 300 Bay Area companies participated in an independent, third-party survey, ranking their companies on topics including work culture, management practices, trust with coworkers, benefits, overall compensation, longevity, trust in senior leaders, and feeling valued.
